Metering

AudioCodes Live Cloud Platform generates data reports and then reports daily to the AudioCodes Metering server which is then used by customer billing systems. The following data is retrieved and reported:

Total number of users
The total number of DIDs
The total number of Active DIDs (assigned phone numbers)

Data is reported based on the configuration of a metering tag (Live Setup ID) in the managed entity. Data is reported for the tier configured with the Live Setup ID and its managed tiers. For example of the Live Setup ID is configured for the Channel tier, then data is reported for the channel and its managed customers.

The AudioCodes Live Cloud Platform Metering feature monitors the license pool of phone numbers provisioned for customers and assigned to licensed M365 users. This feature applies to all product service types including Direct Routing, Operator Connect and Zoom. The application monitors all license types including Hosted Essentials, Hosted Essentials Plus and Hosted Pro. Users are counted as follows:

Direct Routing: The number of SBC users configured on the SBC
Operator Connect: The number of Operator Connect users with numbers assigned numbers in the Teams admin center

Direct Routing user licenses are incremented in single units based on the following priorities (a single priority is counted per user):

1. Users Site Location Calling managed at by AudioCodes OnlinePSTNGateway gateways (AudioCodes SBC device).
2. Users attached to Management Templates.
3. Non-voice updates to user accounts (all Service Types).
4. Managed Service Numbers: (such as fax numbers in SBC )

Operator Connect user licenses are incremented in single units based on DID's assigned to Operator Connect users.
